Reservoir is making home electrification easy, affordable, and awesome, starting with hot water. The Boston-based company designs, builds, and installs the world's first predictive water heater, a heat pump system that learns a household's patterns, heats water when energy is cheapest, stores energy as heat, and monitors home plumbing. Vertical integration lets Reservoir offer an upfront cost comparable to traditional systems while owning the customer relationship, and each install becomes a node in a distributed, grid-connected thermal battery.
