Elevva is a builder and aggregator of Latin American e-commerce brands, primarily focused on brands selling on Mercado Libre (the Amazon of Latin America). Elevva is able to acquire these businesses for relatively low purchase prices (typically < 5x EBITDA). Post acquisition, each brand becomes a part of the Elevva platform and benefits from Elevva’s dedicated operations team, which implements operational changes to drive growth at the company level. These operational adjustments include injecting working capital (mainly inventory purchases), increasing online penetration, creating a social media strategy, new geographic expansion, supply chain optimization, etc.
