Kate is the CFO and CAO at Wayfair. Kate is responsible for Wayfair’s finance, legal, talent, real estate, and corporate affairs teams. Previously, she was the Global Head of Talent, running all global human capital management including recruiting, organizational design, talent management, talent analytics, DEI, compensation and learning and development. Prior to her role in Talent at Wayfair, Kate built and managed the company's Investor Relations function. In this role, Kate led all aspects of Wayfair’s IPO, raising $300M at a $2.4B valuation.

Previously, Kate worked as an investor for nearly five years at Bain Capital, the Boston based private equity firm. She started her career in consulting at McKinsey & Company. Kate serves on the Board of Advisors of 2020 Onsite. Kate holds a BA in political science from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In July 2019, Kate was recognized as one of Fortune’s 40 Under 40. She is a member of the 2020 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute. Kate lives in Boston’s South End with her husband and three young children.
